knookie.co.uk
Hi, I'm looking for the setting to display the subcategories of a main category in the main section of the page with you click on the main category. I'm sure it's obvious and I'm just blind. Also I have a main category with 46 subcategories (I'll probably separate them out) but when you click the main category only 18 or so are displayed in the left hand list. Is this also a setting some where? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance, Mike

I'll have a play around, I need to learn php anyway. For now I'll just seperate out the subcategories so theres less in the list. 46 is too many anyway. Thanks. ♥Monika in Germany
goodie. I suggest you download and install a current default osCommerce in a subfolder, so you can look at the code and the differences in function and display. Templates can be tweaked to do about anything you need (and are good starting points for experts to save time), but are very hard for newbies as there is no documentation - logical, when template companies sell tuning also ;-) :-) Monika addicted to writing code ... can't get enough of databases either, LOL! my toolbox: Textpad - Compare and Merge - phpMyAdmin - WS_FTP - Photoshop - How to search the forum Interactive Media Award July 2007 ~ category E-Commerce my advice on the forum is for free, PMs where you send me work are considered consultation which I charge for ... You were right, it was in the template files, there was a for loop when displaying the categories/subcategories, it was set to 20.... I'll have a look at the subcategories images now. But I just wanted to say thanks, I was obviously looking in the wrong place.
