macad613 Posted September 2, 2006 Share Posted September 2, 2006 I keep getting the : /home/*****/public_html/shop/includes/configure.php. error on the index page after I updated one of the .jpg files in images for my header template. I went into my ftp manager and changed the settings to 444 and the box selections read right, I save and log back on and it's still there. I downloaded "smartFTP" and tried it from it and the same problem,it keeps resetting itself to 644 making user write "Active" This has really got me stumped as the file transfer of the image worked perfectly and I put it in using the same file name so there should be no change to configure.php I must of changed it 10 times using 2 diferent FTP managers and also tried manual change of the ticks in the boxes, which it accepted but then after disconnecting it's back. :angry: Can anyone give me some HELP Please. Cheers Dave macad613 :( Problem solved !!! if anyone else strikes this go into the configure.php file via your c/panel to file manager and set permissions there not through FTP manager as commonly surgested.
