On contributions page, saw cool stuff but unsure how to install

I try dragging the files that I download into my filezilla but that Do Not Enter symbol shows up and doesn't allow me to do it. I'm very new to this stuff...Is there a guide that shows how it's done?

Download the zip file to your desktop - extract it. Read the installation instructions contained within (usually a README.txt file)
