ORDER STATUS

I am new to this and paid to have store built for me,it seems to be running ok BUT..I placed test item at my store with price of $1.00 and .1 cent shipping.Then I went to my store opened customer accounf and placed order for test item .It went through all the processes it seems, took payment from debit card which is sane account as business site for payments. and I got email telling me order was processed and pending status..the problem is it still says order pending ,I do not see where I process the order it shows up in orders correctly but I dont know if its a time thimg or if I am missing something that I have to do to get the process to continue...I expected to see the payment in my bank as credit and also debit because its same account..but that is how I wanted to make sure the payment process was working correctly

hi, you need to go to admin area and to orders and change your order to processed or delivered...

will this get the process of payment from charge card occur then?

I see how I can change the status there to processed or delivered...but what do I have to do to trigger the payment transaction...as yet its not on paypal or my bank as a transaction...thanks

That sound have gone tru automatically, Changing the status of the order manually will not effect the actually payment

any idea of why it did not go through...could it be some problem of me using my same debit card for purchase account at bank that get the payments..I wanted to test system and thought I would get payment and debit for same amount and know it works.........help

hi there

The processing,delivered etc thing is really only an aesthetic thing and is nothing to do with the actual payment going through or not.

No matter if the payment has been accepted or rejected the status will stay as pending until you update it manually.
