jimmygreaves Posted September 1, 2006 Share Posted September 1, 2006 Is it possible to remove the Password option when users create an account and have the password automatically created and emailed in the same way as when the password is reset? Any contributions for this or similar. People are put off by having to come with another "secure" password which they have to remember. I would much rather just give them a password, remove a hurdle from the account creation process and speed things up a little for my clients. How do I remove the Password input when a user creates an account so that my store automatically allocates a password to them. We are able to allocate passwords through the "Password Reminder" page so we should be able to combine it with the account creation page. Has anybody done this...................... Just a comment, anything..................... anybody!!???!?!???!?!? If it can't be done then at least tell me that...... if anybody knows please post a comment.
