Integrate into existing site

I don't want to turn my site into a shopping cart. It has an old shopping cart called CartIt that I want to replace. The advantage of cartit is that I simply inserted code of a form into the site where I wanted an add to cart button. And then the form called up a cgi script that added items to the shopping cart.

Is there currently any easy way to do this with OSCommerce? I was thinking along the lines of adding a php includes statement where I want that 'add to cart' link. Keep in mind I'm no php programmer. And then simply 'view cart' and 'checkout' buttons at the top of the page.

Any suggestions?

OSC is far more developed than the solution you have been using. It is database-driven, not a collection of flat pages that you insert shopping cart code into.

The OSC Admin Tool is extremely powerful and easy to use. You can upload new products, edit products, stick stuff on special offer, send newsletters and many, many other things extremely easily. It runs everything - you do not have to write any code (although if you want to change the look and feel you will have to roll your sleeves up a little bit). Start here:

The fact that OSC is more advanced is why I want to use it. I just want it to remain mostly invisible until checkout and integrate easily into my existing site. We're a manufacturer who happens to sell direct and I don't want that typical shopping cart look. Thanks for the link, but I've already installed...
