Help with creating dependancies

Hi all,

 

I am trying to make some dependancies on my OSCOmmerce site. I am putting together a buisiness that sells custom computers. One of the problems I ran into was when I was thinking about people making their computers, if I list every single part they could choose from, those who are less technically savvy then most will not know for example that if your motherboard is 184pin you cannot buy 240pin ram. I thought about just making seperate "custom packages" but then there would be a bunch of different options that I would have to make.

 

Is there any way that I can make it where If someone chooses a motherboard that is AMD, 184 Pin, Nvidia North bridge, etc that it will check dependancies and eliminate any choices that do not meet those dependancies. This would make my life alot easier, if not I guess I would just have to make different "packages" for each options. Or is this something that could be coded?
