Hi,

frist of all: Sorry about my bad English, I come from Holland!

I have downloaded and uploaded all files into my (subdomain)root folder, but when i go to the /install on my website, I get the following error:

FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it!

And if I go to the root folder I get:

Server Requirement Error: register_globals is disabled in your PHP configuration. This can be enabled in your php.ini configuration file or in the .htaccess file in your catalog directory.

Can anybody help me??

Thanks, Pino1990

Hi I just figured this out for myself.

php.ini is a file located in the apcahe\bin sub-directory.

for example, on my machine, where I use Xampp, it is in C:\Xampp\Apache\bin

Open up the file php.ini (if the "ini" part is not shown in your exlporer window, it's the PHP file that is listed as having "configuration settings" in the file typ column).

Open this up using a text editor. Search for global_register. Change th setting from global_register = off to global_register = on.

Save the changes and close the file. Re-starat your web server. Should work.
