I cannot download files by using the file manager of control panel

Also i cannot download to my computer the backup by using the backup tool into control panel

I can help on the first problem. Don't use the file manager in control panel to download or upload your file as there is a known error in the way it handles file to and from the server. You should always use an FTP client to upload and download your files.

 

 

 

You may need to create a .tmp directory on your server to backup your files. You will need to assign permissions to r-w-x or 777 is the easiest way for that directory. You should be able to FTP to your site and then create a backup by just downloading the site to your hard drive.

but i would like to give some more information

the entire site is in SSL mode

 

In another server that i use for test and is not under SSL

it works great

Is there any possibility that SSL stop the download ?

 

Is there a possibility that the path in configure file is wrong?

 

If i give you my configure File could you tell me if the path is correct.

 

AND th most important :

 

Few days ago i installed the contribution EASYPOPULATE which work great.

 

Every time i want to download the file created by easypopulate i have no problem.

 

But when i split the file and i want to download the splitted file through File manager I can't

 

Through File manager i can't download any file

 

Any IDEA?

Please help?
