Here's the contrib: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ons,1302/page,2 I have set up the Keyword Show (absolute path to your logfile) as this: tmp/access-log so other than that everything is looking good except there's nothing when I click Keyword show, all it says is this: Keywords, search from Google Keywords, search from Google Germany Keywords, search from Google France Keywords, search from Google JAPAN Keywords, search from Other Googles Keywords, search from Yahoo Keywords, search from Altavista Keywords, search from Other search engines Visits from Googlebot Other search engines Total number of keyword searches and Googlebot visits: 0 Now in the contrib set up it said: The Keyword Show contribution assumes that your server has what is called the Combined Log File Format. Could this be my problem? Any help would be great and I hope I've provided all the nessary information for you tohelp me. I'ven been patiently waiting..... :rolleyes: I've set both folders temp/access-log as 777 permission so I know it's not that. In the install there's a section about this: The Keyword Show contribution assumes that your server has what is called the Extended Combined Log File Format (Apache)which is also called the NCSA Combined Log File Format. The Combined log file is the most commonly used one so most likely you can use the log file you have on your server. If your log file is not of this type it is not possible to use the contribution. If your server does not use this log format you can configure your Apache server to use this log format or ask your webhost to do it for you. The Extended Combined log format not only records the access information for each visitor, but also their agent information (Browser used, OS used) and referral information (URL prior to visit). Tsuri Japan Posted September 7, 2006 Author Share Posted September 7, 2006 The problem is it isn't doing what it's supposed to do......keep track of google and yahoo searches. I've done the correct install to the best of my knowledge but on the screen where the supposid search results are it just says 0! If you like use the Standart, then change the mode for the tmp-Folder and File in this Folder to 777 or 766. (this terminate the gz-error) Else: When you do the configuration for the logfile path please do not forget to include the name of the logfile itself.
