reeldr Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 I'm fairly new to this. I was hoping someone could help me. I have 10,000+ parts I need to add to my OsCommerce inventory. Most of these part inventories are currently listed in Microsoft Word and Excel. Is there any easier/faster way to list these parts rather then going through the admin page? I have dial up, so it's pretty timely. If there isn't a different want to do this, is there a way I can make it so that in the admin when I'm entering the products it won't have to show every single part in that category everytime I go to hit the enter the new product button. It takes awhile for the page to load when you have about 250 parts currently listed in that category. Thanks for your help!!

Each image is the same price, just need a cart that will work. What I would like to do is create a catagory (models name and thumbnail) and then upload the photos to this and have it automatically place the "add to cart" button on the large image page. PLEASE HELP!!!! Thanks, J

PLEASE HELP!!!! Thanks, J The newest Easy Populate contrib does make this much easier, and it is easier to install. I too struggled with this for some time, but was able to get back in business with this newest edition. You may need to use the file split tool for very large inventories and you will have to load product images if required. I hope this helps.
