Version type

I downloaded and installed os commerce early march this year, the site is running fine.

 

I noticed that there are new versions now and I dont know if I should upgrade or not. But the problem is that I cant seem to see what version I have!!

I used the 2.2 Milestone 2 documentation Update 051112 to set up but I cant find a version file anywhere,

The only information I can find is in the comments at the top of each file:

$Id: index.php,v 1.1 2003/06/11 17:37:59 hpdl Exp $

Is there a sure way to see what version I have?
