Guest Posted August 30, 2006 Share Posted August 30, 2006 hey guys i am brand new at this and had have massive dramas i installed the new patch and finally got the install page to come up. now i am having hte 1046 error. could this be happening if my databse has no information in it. or is it more technical than that. cos i will be honest and say i dont know how to put info in the database... sorry. i made my databse via my host but i dont know how to put any info in it. if that makes sense. i appreciate anything you have to say, even criticism is appreciated. You need to know the database server name (usually localhost but not always), your username, your password, and your database name.
