I'm doing a similar thing at the moment (however having lots of trouble with the product listing page) see http://www.noanchoviestudios.com/bpp/catalog/. Basically its just a matter of copying the html code from your existing layout into the header.php files and footer.php files and adjusting the look and feel of each page either by modifying the css file and images that come with osC or creating your own.
