Add Multiple Related Products to Shopping Cart

Hi folks,

 

Here is what I am trying to achieve.

 

I am building a Furniture website, and need to be able to provide the following customer user experience:

 

1. Customer goes to Dining Room section, and selects a Dining table

2. The page displays the Dining Table, and at the bottom, it displays the Chairs that are related to the Table.

3. Customer is able to do the following:

- A. Choose the table

- B. Choose the Chair

- C. Choose the QUANTITY of both Table and Chairs

- D. Choose any product attributes/options (such as color)

- E. Add all items in Shopping Cart.

 

So basically, if the customer sees the related products, he/she will be able to select items and quantities on one page (the product page), and add the SET to the Shopping Cart (without having to go to each related item's page, and add each related item individually).

 

I have added the XSell and the Related Items contributions, but they either do not achieve this, or I just don't know how to make them behave accordingly.
