Show subcategories in categories page

Hi,

 

I have the problem with my site. I have several subcategories each with many products in them, but when i click on the main category link, nothing comes up. Therefore, i need a way to put links to the subcategories pages on the main page.

 

You can see what i mean on my website. www.car-puters.com. Click on the displays category and nothing comes up. But click on the "in-dash" subcategory and it is full of products. I would like a button/link on my displays page which links to each subcategory. I am prepared to do this manually because it is easily customised that way, and it wont take that long anyway because i will not be changing the structure of my store very often if at all.

 

Any questions just let me know, hope you can help me with this.

bet you have a disabled product in your displays category alongside the subcategories.

You were right, thanks for your help. But how do i remove that "New Products For August" box from the page and add my own content?

 

With regard to my URL, i asked about that on the forum a while ago but recieved no replies. If you check it works with a single "/" so I didnt think that it would be a problem. Obviously id like to fix it though. Any ideas?

that "new products" box is a simple include module you can remove or replace with any other module you wish. It is included in your index.php file somewhere down.

 

The double // in your url's is probably due to an error in your configure.php file.
