Guest Posted August 29, 2006 Share Posted August 29, 2006 Hey, Im currently setting up my store (i'm a freelance 3d artist) and i'm going to sell 3d models and let customers order custom models from me. I'm currently designing my store, messing around with a few things, and i really like OsCommerce alot, i just need some help... I keep getting the error: 'Warning: The sessions directory does not exist: /tmp. Sessions will not work until this directory is created.' Problem is i also have another site installed on the same server using a OsCommerce install and this error does not occur, how do i solve this? and can i use a database to store sessions? If so can i change it? The last thing, when i launch the site im going to market it with a giveaway (common and low i know!!) 70 3d files with textures, mainly surplus. It will be free, however i dont want it on my store front, i simply want the people i target to sign up as a customer, log in, then download the .exe file, is it possible for me to do this?
