Admin username/password - forgot

Hello,

 

I have an existing oscommerce shop that I moved to a new host and had to set up a new database access user, which went ok.

 

The thing is: I forgot my username/password to my OSCommerce admin area! Is there any way to reset this or change it internally at all, while still keeping my shop intact?

If you forget the admin area password, you can change the previleges access on your web host, because the admin area is only a directory. In a Linux/Apache web server, you can edit the file httpd.conf and remove the previleges on you ADMIN directory... if you not have rights access - contact the host administrator

 

if you forget the Database Password you can use the phpMyAdmin to change the user's password on your database...

Are you using a password protection contribution? If so you cannot do what Marco has suggested.
