using 15,000 products?

Does anyone run an osC with 15,000 products or more? I am getting ready to import about that many products and create a directory site but was wondering if others have sucessfully run cart with this many items.

I have 12,800 + products to exact on one of my osc site, so far i haven't had any problems with it. :)

I am not disputing that osc can handle big amounts of inventory, I just hate it when people make unsubstanciated statements like "I have seen..."

I was going to put the site here, but they might see it as an advertisement, anyway, i'm not advertising the site, i'm putting it here as an example.

it has 120 + categories. I disabled some of the features that I don't need. It still needs some finishing touches, but it's working 100%
