Jan Zonjee Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 I have installed two contributions, UPS XML contribte + Packaging data In the admin new product page I get four rows of data regarding shipping Weight & Dimensions? How do you incorporate if you have several boxes for one product in the store? There has been a post about this in the UPS XML thread. Contributions often have their own thread in the Contribution Support forum. There is a reason for that. I wouldn't use the packaging data. Why make UPS XML take your products through dozens of boxes to try to fit if you don't even have all those boxes? Only add the ones you do have at your disposal.

The question was about an item that needs few different boxes for shipping. i.e. lets say I am selling book collections and each collection may require few boxes with different weight. I need to have an option to input the info. in admin so the contribution could calculate accurate rate for ups shipping and I don't know how it is done. Is there a contribution for it? or do I need to setup UPS XML differently thx again for your thought and I appreciate an input.
Jan Zonjee Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 The question was about an item that needs few different boxes for shipping. The underlined text in my post is the link to the "solution/hack" that could do that. And no, there is no contribution for it to make that a point and click solution.
