attributes sorting problem

I installed the Contribution Attributes sorting order and it installed fine from what I know. The problem is that the first 4 products that I set up sort just fine but the rest are in any order. I noticed that when I created a new products at the bottom of the new product page I had the attributes there in a box that I could select which ones and the price etc etc instead of having to go to the attributes page and adding them one at a time. I used this box to create all the attributes for the products after the first 4 and they don't seem to sort anymore even if I give then the proper sorting number. Can anyone please help me out on this issue?
