about contribution selection and use

hey all

 

heres the thing.. im new to osC, have installed it and have also started adding contributions

 

going through the contributions is, however, a very overwhelming process, and then once u find a contribution, selecting through different variations can be tricky (at least for me)

 

so, is there anyone who can give advice as to tackling this best? i tried to setup a thread earlier but perhaps it wasnt direct enough.

 

what contributions are essential?

 

what should be implemented first thing first?

 

any personal favorites? why?

 

how do u no which contribution variation should be used?
