can't install oscommerse

Hi, everybody!

 

I install osCommerse on my computer and then tranfer it to ftp.server

 

But wneh I am trying to install it on server it only gives me a front page where says:

 

...Please customize the new installation with the following options: e.t.c....

 

and thre two butons "cancel" and "continue" . And when I try to "continue" and....simply nothing happens. It just doesn't go any further, doesn't load to the next page.

 

What might be a problem here?

When you transfer the local folders/files to your website you need to create a blank database (online), take a backup of your local database via local phpMyAdmin, access the new (blank) online database via phpMyAdmin (online) and use the Import or SQL tab to locate the backup of the database on your computer and upload it into the blank database.

 

Once you've done tha you can edit the two configure.php files manually and delete the 'install' folder.
