Payement Arrives, but cannot see the orders!

Hello Guys,

I've just setting up an experimental shop at http://store.carrierbuilders.net . I already had some orders, but unfortunatelly it was only 1! that appeared as an order in the system. I had others where I received the payments from the registered users, but I cannot find the order itself in the system, it's empty at the certain users, or at the orders overview. It's a problem, as I don't know what are they exactly ordered, especially as it not appears at the PayPal either....although it's paid.

Does anyone have any ideas concerning this? I'm using the standard built in PayPal modul, and this is the only way I can accept payments at the moment. Interestingly there's one order correctly in the system, so it should work...but what is happening with the rest?

It would be really important to me, so please help me ASAP if you can!

Greetings, neu

Bug: the default Paypal module doesn't process the order into the database unless they click back to your site after paying.

Solution: install Paypal IPN

Hello,

As I'm absolutely lame to oscommerce, and it's just a wonder that the shop is working I'd apprecaite if you would describe this a bit more, as I've found several contribution called PayPal IPN and similars. What is this exactly? Which one should I install?

Greetings, neu

It'll work. It's the only paypal module that really works.
