rikpotts Posted August 25, 2006 Share Posted August 25, 2006 Ive gone back to osCommerce after being away for almost a year and have run into difficulty updating my product list. Ive always used easypopulate 2.74 and also have a lot of products; around 2200. When I try to download the tab-delimited file I get a timeout. I imagine I will get one when uploading too. The thing is ive managed to upload and download the tab-delimited files with this many products... well it the attributes which are causing the time out. Does anyone know how I might have pulled it off in the past? Uploading isnt too bad but I cant think of I can download the tab-delimited file. Has anyone any ideas? Jack_mcs Posted August 26, 2006 Share Posted August 26, 2006 The timeout is due to a server setting. If it ran before then you may have had fewer attributes, allowing the script to complete earlier. For now, you will need to use the split option or just break the file up yourself. I think I did it offline using xampp. Ive tried to get it running in xampp again but it wont have it. something about register_globals disabled in php.ini. Ive enabled it bt it still doesnt work.
