Replace "New Products" with a listing for a fixed category

Hi, I've got a remarkably simple request, but I'm struggling to dismantle the OSC code to figure out how to do it. One the main page, there is normally a New Products section, displaying the most recently added products. I wish to replace this with a Laptops section, which will display the most recent additions in the laptop category only. With calls to functions etc everywhere though, I'm not managing to piece together what I need to/can safely change, and what to ignore.

 

I'd be grateful for any help, and many thanks to everyone who is involved in this piece of software, it really is fantastic (if a little confusing with remote includes at times! :blink: )
