The only thing that affects Page Rank is the number/quality of the links to your site. So if you want to increase that, you need to get links to your site. This is usually done with link exchanges but there are directories available where you can have one-way links, which are usually better.

Google loves blogs and forums. Add one onto your site and watch your indexing increase. If the blog or forum is useful to others, they will link to it which may count towards your page rank.

 

Regarding link building, don't just swap links with anyone, apparently Google is starting to recognise irrelevant link swapping (basically what is a link to a shoe store doing in their music web site?). As a Christian Music Store, find Christian-related websites (e.g. for associations , other Christian-related shopping stores). Also, find ones that are popular then Google their domain like this: link:http://www.domain.com. This will reveal who links to them, thus who you may be perhaps be able to link with. They will also be more inclined to swap links with you on the basis of relevance alone and if they have a pagerank it will add towards yours.
