How to remove the row of New Products For August?

I wish to remove the row of New Products For August, i.e. only show the new products. Please help.

Hello Alex.

 

Go to your file catalog/index.php.

 

On or around line 138, you will see this line:

 

<tr>

<td><?php // include(DIR_WS_MODULES . FILENAME_NEW_PRODUCTS); ?></td>

</tr>

 

 

Just put the two slashes // just like I did and comment the new products out. Then they won't show up. Cool?

Thanks for your kind assistance. I noticed that this will removed the whole New Products For August Box. I wish to modify the New Products For August Box as below:

 

The New Products For August Box has two rows.

- The first row with the heading "New Products For August" and

- The second row display the new products.

 

Is is possible to remove the first row only?

I am still playing around the osCommerce in my local server. Please take a look at the following picture:

Try going to catalog/products_new.php. Open that up, and on or around lines 51-54, comment out that table row (put double slashes in there), so it will look something like:

// <td class="pageHeading"><?php echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>

// <td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'table_background_products_new.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>

// </tr>
