i have installed osCommerce V2.2.2 and I tried to install CCGV5.16 found in the contribution. I did not do amendment to the original files but just copy the catalog dir direct to the server using ftp.I have run the SQL given togeher with the package and it shows successfully created.When i run the admin interface, only the 'coupons admin' option shows the below error:

----------------

Discount Coupons Status : Active CouponsInactive CouponsAll Coupons

Coupon Name Coupon Amount Coupon Code Status Action

1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-20, 20' at line 1

select coupon_active, coupon_id, coupon_code, coupon_amount, coupon_minimum_order, coupon_type, coupon_start_date,coupon_expire_date,uses_per_user,uses_per_coupon,restrict_to_p

roducts, restrict_to_categories, date_created,date_modified from coupons where coupon_active='Y' and coupon_type != 'G' limit -20, 20

-----------------

the rest of the function(send ,queue in the admin) and those function in the website is fine.

Is there problem with my database setting or something else.pls help.thanks

You mention CCGV(trad), but you wouldn't get that error with CCGV(trad) if you followed the instructions. It says that if you have not upgraded osCommerce to the latest version (which was then the November 2005 version) then you should do so before installing CCGV(trad).

The error you are getting will also apply to Categories, Products etc. if you have deleted all the default Categories or Products before adding any new ones. This error only occurs with older versions of osCommerce.

thanks Vger. it's the " $offset "problem again in catalog/includes/classes/split_page_results.php and catalog/admin/includes/classes/split_page_results.php...just amend it to"max($offset,0) and both CCGV(trad) and CCGV5.16 works great!!
