Weird, but probably simple problem

I've just installed my site and OsCommerce and if I go to discountmania.co.uk i get the Oscommerce site, but if i go to www.discountmania.co.uk I get an error fromcPanel. Why is the www. making a difference?

have you just brought the domain name as it take a while to activate

well i bought it last night and the hosting at arhoster.com I have only just changed my DNS setting at 123-reg so ill wait a while for it to activate, thanks very much
