reszel
The configuration was successful! But it was NOT! My database settings were NOT saved in configure.php NOR were my webserver variables! There must be some problems with installation script on a shared host.
Guest
Before starting installation, did you change permission on both catalog and admin/includes/configure.php to 777 ? The_Bear
reszel
Before starting installation, did you change permission on both catalog and admin/includes/configure.php to 777 ? The_Bear OK - i did now and it helped! Thanx! But: 1) I had to chmod /catalog/admin/includes/ to 777 and chmod /catalog/admin/includes/configure.php to 777 AND chmod /catalog/includes/ to 777 and chmod /catalog/includes/configure.php to 777 2) There is nothing about permissions of configure.php in the docs AND 3) installation should really help with invalid permissions. Imho it is NOT so easy for the first time user to install OSC.
