How do i secure the Admin panel?

Currently anyone can just get into the Administration panel by adding /admin to my store name. So how can i secure it? (i.e. username/password)

This is done from your web hosting Control Panel. Look for the Password Protect icon/link

hey, i accidently password protected the store directory instead of the admin one. But it won't let me remove the user/pass as it says "Last user cannot be deleted."

 

edit: nevermind, deleted the htaccess things
