Test Site ADMIN section problem

Recommended Posts

So I finally make a test site based off my actual live working site (better late than never).

The test site is on the same domain, just in a different folder.

Created a new database for it, everything seems fine EXCEPT.... the admin section leads to the actual site admin section. (all other pages link to the test site though)

Any ideas what I did wrong? (other than not setting the test site first *cough*)

Thanks in advance for any help!

did you check the settings in the configure.php in your admins test folder?

Before you do any changes on your site you need to do BACKUP! BACKUP!

I did check that file, but I didn't see anything that would point it to my actual site rather than the test one. (actual site is in one folder, test site in another)

For example:

actual: www.domain.com/real

test: www.domain.com/booboo

Then again, I'm a php idiot (my friend set up and got the test site working) so maybe I missed something in the admin/configuration.php file. >_>

I'll check it again.
