I'm trying to edit index.php (after much searching for the file itself) and when I tried to delete the main text ('TEXT_MAIN') I get a pink script on the top of the page telling me that I cannot write to the file. It goes on to tell me that I need to "set the right user permissions" in order to have the ability to edit the text on my index page. I still want to keep the boxes, headers, etc. I have the same problem, I can edit the file but always delete some essential php/html code causing errors to show at the top of the page. What do you suggest? I could send you the file so you could edit out the middle text.
