admin configuration

Hi,

please help me with this:

In Admin page, configuration categories, all have multiple parameters (eight each) for each, such as

store name

store name

store name

store name

store name

store name

store name

store name

store owner

store owner

store owner

store owner

store owner

store owner

store owner

store owner

e-mail address

e-mail address

.........

Cannot figure out why, please I need your help!

Hi Surilora

 

Not sure what might have caused the problem, but to remove the extra entries you could use something like phpMyAdmin to manually edit the the CONFIGURATION tabel in your database.

 

Make sure you back everything up before you do anything, and look for entries that have the correct info in as the ones to keep.

Thank you very much for the reply.

I did manually edit the configuration table in my database, but only one line of these eight duplicate parameters change to what I edited in the database. The rest remain the same. All of the categories in configuration have the same problem.

Have you tried deleting the extra entries from the database table, then log into the admin consol of OSC and check/re-enter the configuration info?

 

Does deleting the entries from table remove them from the cofiguration page of OSC?

 

Again, make sure you back up before making any changes.

There is only one entry in the database!!!

So, there are no more entries to delete, but the admin still shows multiple values....

i have the same problem, i am running os commerce milestone 2

 

... although i have just noticed that the version i installed is ms 2 from 2003 so im going to apply the 3 patches and see if that fixes the problem, will post back.
