Guest
Hello all. I just installed the latest oscommerce on debian 3.1 with apache2, mysql4.1 and php4/5. The installation goes great but after installing going to Administration, no password is needed and ask for! Also I can not find something to create backend user. Is that not implemented? So what is wrong? can someone help? tia stefan
Andrew Yuen
Nothing is wrong, If you have cpanel go to password protect directories and protect your admin directory. If you do not have cpane use a .htacess file to protect the directory. Andrew Yuen osCommerce, Community Team

I need a way that another user can easily administer oscommerce. A way to configure backend user in administration is the easyest way. Also a connection to ldap should be there. Is something like this planned? Cause this is a must for me! Or is there now another way for easy administer users except .htaccess!? tia stefan
