sharplab Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Well we have finished our Froogle contrib. for data feed and had to work with it a bit...ie 1) Change the column names to old format like "product_url" and "name" TO the new format names of "link" and "title" >_< SO GOOGLE BASE STILL REPOTING INTERNAL ERROR!!! I am a fairly new programmer to google stuff but have moderate knowledge of the workings. :-) :D Now what we did was run this froogle.php on one of of smaller stores which sells only 100 items or so and obviously configure it for the new store, database name, database user, google account name, pwd, etc etc! AND THAT IS TAKIN' FINE! Feed is approved and searchable and yadda yadda yadda. WHAT IS WRONG? We keep getting a Google error saying its internal but the whole SCRIPT worked on our smaller store TONIGHT?? Our larger store which sells a totally different product base has about 800 items and our small store which is a sports equipment depot has about 100 items. We have even went so far as to try registering another Google account after our smaller store feed went through fine but still the "Internal Error". I have checked and checked and dont know whats wrong. When I execute the admin/froogle.php file for BOTH sites I get a good .txt TAB DELIMITED layout and then I save those to my desktop under "STORE1" and "STORE2". :) We then open our first Google account and "Register" the feed name: IE: store1 = store_one.txt, We then simply manually "browse" our desktop and upload it. Everything always says "Your File Has Been Uploaded" but no GO for the big FEED! I AM STUMPED!!!! Lets Review: SAME SCRIPT 2 DIFFERENT DOMAINS 2 DIFFERENT DATA BASES SCRIPT RUNS PERFECT FOR BOTH WE USED THE SAME SCRIPT FROM BIG STORE THAT DIDNT WORK AND CONFIGURED IT FOR SMALL STORE IT WORKS FOR SMALL STORE FEED FINE! WONT WORK FOR BIG FEED.... Help EXPERTS!! Thanks guys and girls!!! sharplab Posted August 23, 2006 Author Posted August 23, 2006 Real quick I will tell you google has been having <AJOR challenges with the froogle this past week.. it may not be totally up and running 100% yet.. are you sure you have a valid upload file named there already for this 2nd store?? Hmmm.. Well when I registered the .txt bulk upload file for each site (ie. store) the page at the top says "Your file has been registered" or something like that. Then from there I manually upload the .txt feed file. We are using the exact same "Froogle.php" code for each store BUT obviously with the basic config SQL, etc etc changes. The WEIRD thing is that we took this from the SITE that was NOT working and tested it on our SMALLER store on a totally different domain space and BOOM it works like a charm! ANYWAY Thank you so much for the input!!!! :-) Suggest wait a few days and try again? Lelia Current Contributions: Page Cache, Center Store, Ultimate URL's, Header Tags, Product Description , Image Add To Cart - , Store Cache
