haggisv Posted August 23, 2006 Share Posted August 23, 2006 Hi! I initially had a .net domain and installed the OSCommerce shop and a /Shop/ directory. Since I'm in Australia I decided later that a .com.au domin would be more appropriate, so I got that domain, and and my host (Jumba) point this to the same location. I've been promoting our website with the .com.au domain, but all the links within the shop still point to the old .net domain. This seems to really confuse sitemap generator programs, and most likely search engines and robots too, since they don't seem to follow links to another domain. I have just changed all references from the old to the new domain in the two config.php files. However when I hover my cursor over the catalog option, the old domain still shows up. I seesm to random switch between the old .net doamin and the new .com.au domain: http://www.oneofakindtrading.com.au/Shop/ Appreciate any suggestions! Thank a lot!
