higgalls
Hi, I am wondering if anyone could help me. I am starting to really use the specials part of OsCommerce, and I have one problem. Basically, I import all my product details and prices into my OsCommerce database daily via a script. This works well. However, since prices can change daily, it is hard to set up special prices with a % off the normal price (for example 10% off). When you first set the special price, it calculates the correct price, and the customer can purchase at the special price without a problem. However, the problem happens when my normal product prices change as the special price doesn't change according to that price. So, I was wondering whether there is a specials contrib out there that will set itself in the database as a percentage off the normal price, and then work that way, rather that storing the physical dollar ammount in the database. I hope you understand what I mean. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Chris :)
