yosc
Hello, does anybody know of any way to make the products sold by weight be displayed by unit price (eg 2.00/lb) but be added to cart or shown in product details by total price (eg 4.00 for 2 lbs)? yosc
Monika, thank you, but unfortunately my German is not good enough to be able to understand it - do you know if there's an English version, or perhaps you could translate the contrib title to me so I could do a search? Thank you much, Joseph
♥Monika in Germany
as far as I know this only exists in German. I have not used it ... I have not done a German shop with base prices yet ;-). you enter a base price in admin, and it will be shown on your product info page ... actually, I just tried the google translater and it should be good enough for you to understand In order to become fair the German price marking regulation, also the basic price must be indicated for different articles apart from the selling price. With the modifications from these Contribution becomes the basic price of the articles on the product_info-Seite below the price indicated. The respective basic price and the associated unit are given within the admin range during the article administration. Only the multiplication factor is seized, in order to compute from the item price the basic price. With price adjustments the basic price is thus changed as well automatically. If the factor is 1 (= default), no basic price is indicated. The factor will be computed by the input of the basis quantity and article quantity and into the form transfer. :-) Monika addicted to writing code ... can't get enough of databases either, LOL! my toolbox: Textpad - Compare and Merge - phpMyAdmin - WS_FTP - Photoshop - How to search the forum Interactive Media Award July 2007 ~ category E-Commerce my advice on the forum is for free, PMs where you send me work are considered consultation which I charge for ... yosc
Thanks Monika, I'll try it out - I'm guessing it would use the product weight attribute as the 'multiplication factor'?
♥Monika in Germany
I think so ... you can ... from what I understand ... specify the units entered, like lb, kg, meters or whatever :-) Monika addicted to writing code ... can't get enough of databases either, LOL! my toolbox: Textpad - Compare and Merge - phpMyAdmin - WS_FTP - Photoshop - How to search the forum Interactive Media Award July 2007 ~ category E-Commerce my advice on the forum is for free, PMs where you send me work are considered consultation which I charge for ...
