Mark06497
Hi, The instuctions for installing Dynamic Mopics 3.00 are pretty straight forward but I'm a little confused about the second step. It says Import SQL file `_install_sql/INSTALL_v3.000.sql` to your database. I found the file INSTALL_v3.000.sql but I'm not sure how to import it to my database. I'm new to osCommerce and I've been fortunate so far with installing and configuring everthing but I'm lost on this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If it helps, my osCommerce is installed on a Linux server with a mySQL database. Thanks, Mark

Thanks, Mark do you already have access to phpMyAdmin, or can you install it? maybe another mysql management tool? the management tool allows you to backup your database using the 'export' function or update it using the 'import' function. When you have access to your database via the management tool, you can use the tool's import function to accept the *.sql file & update the database. (if you import the remove.sql it will reverse the change made with install.sql). PM me if u need more info. jay.
