abra123cadabra Posted August 21, 2006 Share Posted August 21, 2006 I see what you mean. I have no solution for this but the tep_href_link directs to index.php on your https server instead of http. Did you make any changes to the checkout_success.php? abra123cadabra Posted August 22, 2006 Share Posted August 22, 2006 I had another look at checkout_success.php. Did you modify anything to switch off product notifications from showing up on this page? Check if this code (around line 20) is still there. If your's is different from this, post it here or let me know if it is missing. if (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['action']) && ($HTTP_GET_VARS['action'] == 'update')) { $notify_string = 'action=notify&'; $notify = $HTTP_POST_VARS['notify']; if (!is_array($notify)) $notify = array($notify); for ($i=0, $n=sizeof($notify); $i<$n; $i++) { $notify_string .= 'notify[]=' . $notify[$i] . '&'; } if (strlen($notify_string) > 0) $notify_string = substr($notify_string, 0, -1); tep_redirect(tep_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT, $notify_string)); } Same goes for this code at around line 79. Let me know what you got there. <td valign="top" class="main"><?php echo tep_draw_separator('pixel_trans.gif', '1', '10'); ?><div align="center" class="pageHeading"><?php echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></div><br><?php echo TEXT_SUCCESS; ?><br><br> <?php if ($global['global_product_notifications'] != '1') { echo TEXT_NOTIFY_PRODUCTS . abra123cadabra Posted August 22, 2006 Share Posted August 22, 2006 My guess at the moment is the redirect at the top of checkout_success. Let's try something. Find if (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['action']) && ($HTTP_GET_VARS['action'] == 'update')) { $notify_string = 'action=notify&'; $notify = $HTTP_POST_VARS['notify']; if (!is_array($notify)) $notify = array($notify); for ($i=0, $n=sizeof($notify); $i<$n; $i++) { $notify_string .= 'notify[]=' . $notify[$i] . '&'; } if (strlen($notify_string) > 0) $notify_string = substr($notify_string, 0, -1); tep_redirect(tep_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT, $notify_string)); } and replace with if (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['action']) && ($HTTP_GET_VARS['action'] == 'update')) { // $notify_string = 'action=notify&'; // $notify = $HTTP_POST_VARS['notify']; // if (!is_array($notify)) $notify = array($notify); // for ($i=0, $n=sizeof($notify); $i<$n; $i++) { // $notify_string .= 'notify[]=' . $notify[$i] . '&'; // } // if (strlen($notify_string) > 0) $notify_string = substr($notify_string, 0, -1); tep_redirect(tep_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT, $notify_string)); } Let me know when you did this and I'll try again what happens with the checkout. abra The First Law of E-Commerce: If the user can't find the product, the user can't buy the product. abra123cadabra Posted August 22, 2006 Share Posted August 22, 2006 Ok, let's try something else. Change back the last code and find this: <td width="100%" valign="top"><?php echo tep_draw_form('order', tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_SUCCESS, 'action=update', 'SSL')); ?><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> replace with: <td width="100%" valign="top"><?php echo tep_draw_form('order', tep_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT); ?><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> It should redirect to index.php without ssl and skips the bit about registering product-notifications to the customers account. abra123cadabra Posted August 22, 2006 Share Posted August 22, 2006 Look, it's very difficult to help you if you don't answer my questions as to what you did. I have no idea which of the suggested changes are right now in your file. To see the effect I need to know which version is online and I need to place an order to check where it might go wrong. The parse error most likely happens because you forgot to paste a closing >.
