Can Google Adwords help you to get listed in Google ?

Hi there,

my site is not yet listed in Google, but is visiting my site daily because I submitted my sitemap to them.

My question is, if Google Adwords and a running campaign is helping me, to get listed earlier within Google ?

I guess my site is in the google sandbox :-(

Thanks in advance,

kind regards

Andreas

Getting list in google is not normally a problem, I've setup two sites in thelast few weeks and they are already listed.

If you continue to have problems the best way to get listed is to register on http://dmoz.org

Problem is this relies on the editors speed of update, I had problems with one of my sites years ago and in the end I enrolled as editor of that subject to get it in.

Are you sure the search engines are seeing your site properly ?

My site is listed in DMOZ since a week or so.

But google is not showing this source as a backlink. Or not yet.

What I'm looking for is getting indexed pages within google.

To reach this, I'm thinking about Google Adwords.

With this, I want to speed up the process.

The question is, if this is possible with Adwords.

How do you get into Google so fast ?

Regards

Andreas

I don't know if google ads will get you index'ed quicker.

All I ever do is add my site to the google "add my site" feature.

Hi,

I'm using adwords (and have noticed google spidering my site more often), so it's probably true that google does index your site if you use adwords.

I bought a great book that I'm using to "get out there". It's called Search Engine Optimization for Dummies (and no, I'm not on commission!). Amongst many other things, it recommends listing your site on any other sites that are already indexed by google. It'll pick up your site next time it visits the already indexed site. I've noticed this happening every 4 days or so.

Hope this helps.

Your site is most liekly indexed by google but it may be at such a low position you are not seeing it. If it is not listed, then you should check your logs to see if they are visiting and make sure they are not blocked. As for adwords, they won't help your ranking directly. But they can increase traffic, which the SE's monitor. As traffic goes up, so does your ranking, albeit only a little, but that is how all of SEO works.

My site is unfortunately not indexed - also not at a very low position. Only 1 result appears, that means, that only my URL is shown in Google, but not any indexed page.

I checked the sitemap tool in Google - no page is inaccessible for Google, so it should not be blocked.

Also my logs are showing that Google is visiting my site daily, hitting different product pages.

I have already submitted a sitemap to Google.

Are there other ways to check, if my site is blocked ?

Second question:

What version of Google Adwords would you choose, Starter or Standard version ?

Thanks in advance,

Regards

Andreas

Since you have one page listed, it means you are indexed by google. My guess is that your site hasn't been around long enough for them to list more. It can take months.

Thats right, my site is not too long around and maybe therefore not indexed with the many pages I have.

But thats exactly that, what I want to push by using Google Adwords.
