scanyman Posted August 20, 2006 Share Posted August 20, 2006 Hi Guys, First posting, love the product, need initial thoughts on my application. Been playing around with this for a while now. I am trying to add to my existing static web pages an os store to supply my existing customers with downloads of user manuals in pdf format. My first problem I am trying to get my head round is how I link from my existing Index.Html page to what I think I need to link to being Index.php. I am currently working on my own test server using the Xampp set up for apache. I think from what Ive read that the initial route directory is c:\Xampp\htdocs\catalog and that it will look for the index.php file to start in this directory. Is this correct and if so where would I place my initial Index .html file that my site would start on. Also what would I do when I come to move the application to a live host. Any help appreciated.
