Guest
I have installed oscommerce via my control panel with imhosted. I also installed the ssl the same way. I have read the ssl tutorial and the installation guide and am not finding solutions. My catalog/admin still shows no ssl. The ssl tutorial listed some files that need to be changed in order to activate my ssl, but I can't access these files to check or change them. My oscommerce was installed to public.html in a folder called catalog. My ssl cert is installed to a folder called ssl that is not in the public folder. I am sure I am missing something obvious here but can't figure out what it is. Please help. Lisa

Guest
Nonsense: that post is still there. This thread that we are posting on now was the one that disappeared and I had to post again, and my last post still goes unanswered. I have read all of the information I can find regarding ssl certs not working and none of them apply to my situation. I have tried to search the forums for topics regarding secure ssl and I am still not finding a solution that works for me. I really would appreciate any input anyone might have as to the cause of my trouble. When I go to: www.mydomain.com/catalog/admin, the page shows that my ssl is not working. I set up an ssl cert through my control panel with imhosted. Everything appeared to go as it was supposed to other than the ssl not working on my catalog. I have finally figured out how to find and change the permissions that are talked about, do I need to change those now before I load my catalog for the cert to work, or have I set the ssl up incorrectly? I appreciate any help I can get, Lisa
