jamathon
I have a friend who is all ready using OS commerce for his standard shopping cart.. He wants to create a separate cart for wholesale only that features a password type login to access the cart. He also wants buyers to be able to select products to order at wholesale prices without actually buying them through the cart... As in they select 5-10 items and it sends the order to him with their account information then he can double check and make sure the items are in stock, then contact the buyer for payment afterwards... Is this possible at all with OS Commerce? If so can someone offer some assitance in how to make it happen.. If not does anyone know of any cart or solution for this situation? Thanks so much in advance for any and all help or advice!

You COULD restrict the payment module for that price group though. COD might work. You could always just keep your stock up to date I suppose. HTH, Iggy Everything's funny but nothing's a joke... HTH, Iggy I will look into that contribution and see what i can do about possibly restricting the payment module or a COD option... Again, I'm not sure exactly why he'd want to go through the trouble of a separate cart that doesn't proces the orders, it's just how he wants to do it.. I agree with you... Having everything in stock would solve the problem! Any other advice would be great!
mickeymouse
Separate Price per Customer contrib is definetly the way to go. You have the ability to restrict payment methods w/ this mod on a customer/group level. Maybe look into a purchase order payment method or a "free charge card" payment method. HTH Greg I only do what my Rice Krispies tell me to do!
