Guest
Hey, Is it possible to only charge the customer the most expensive delivery charge when they buy more than 1 item instead of each items delivery charge added together. For example if they buy an item with a delivery of ?10 and one with a delivery of ?5 then they would be charged ?10 and not ?15, which is what is happening at the moment. Guest
i had this problem with our site and what i have done is offer 2 ways, each item or a standard cost. so example i charge 2.50 per item, but best way is 10.00, so if they order more than 4 items they normally pick the best way, 10.00 with royal mail goes along way with our products and fingers crossed i have never been out of pocket, they may be another way, but so far, for me this has worked?? Guest
Thanks for the reply. Not too sure it will work with the site I am doing at the moment as they sell electrical goods from MP3 players to LCD TV's so there is a huge difference in the postage costs. If someone buys lots of smaller items I still only want to charge them a small delivery charge rather than a maximum of say ?20 for a television.
