Removing round corners on boxes

The top box (Catolog) has a round corner on the left and a straight box on the right. How do you remove the round corner and make the box a box.

Do you mean the rounded corners in the infoboxes?

 

If so, the corners are little gif files.

 

The file is located at catalog/images/infobox/corner_left.gif.

My favourite easy fix for this is to just make the file transparent gif and then it is still there if you want to use it later.

In each infobox file (catalog/includes/boxes/xxxxx.php, you'll find a line:

	new infoBoxHeading($info_box_contents, false, false);

 

where the false, false is the setting for no rounding of the top of the box. Change it to true, true for both sides rounded, etc.

However, if you're going to change the color of the header of the boxes in the stylesheet, you should go ahead and drop the images altogether. The easy way to do it is mentioned above. Use the existing file, pixel_trans.gif. Copy it and rename it to the corner gif files and they'll all be gone.
