Looking for a certain type of contribution, can anyone help?

I sell sports collectibles in my store and need a contribution that when you click on a product and the product page opens, you have the ability to select the team you like in a drop down, Rather than listing the same product for each team.

I think you can accomplish what you want in the standard OSC Products Attributes section of the admin.

You access it at:

Admin > Catalog > Product Attributes

 

Then from there you can create attributes for products. I have never done this but that is what I would try.

It looks to me as if you create a product option, in your case "team" and then create a list of values like "Leafs, Canadiens, Rangers, etc . . .". Then you assign this to the product.

That's my guess on how to do it.
