Lowering the product description in product_info.php?

I have edited a simple template in BTS if this is relevant...

 

I have a common header for each page - a background image, with the category or page name over.

The problem with this is that the smalltext in product info is also over the bottom of this background image is difficult to see.

 

I could add 5 line breaks to each product description to cure the problem the easy way....but since I may be importing product descriptions later on, this is a bit of a lame way to do it. Plus, if I change site layout in future, I don't want to have to delete all the extra line breaks manually - so coding is the "right" solution

 

Where would I look (still finding my way around what file does what) to lower the product description by 5 lines (ideally my product image would stay where it is...I don't want to drop that as they look good over the semi-transparent bg image header)

ideally I may choose to align the options box to the right too.

 

Until I've done a few more alterations and edits like this, I still find myself searching through all the files to work out what file generates what, so any pointers would be most appreciated...
